Guest Author Eve Langlais

Welcom to the blog Eve and thanks for taking the time to join us!

What is the title of your most recent published book?
Coming out on October 15th are two stories just in time for Halloween. With Amira Press, I have a paranormal romance featuring a witch and a shifter. He didn’t count on a stubborn witch making abduction his only option. From Cobblestone Press, it’s A Ghostly Ménage featuring a human woman and twin shifter ghosts. Forget ghosts that rattle chains, try living with ones that like to grope.

Where were you when you got your first book contract? Who did you tell?
I was sitting in my office when I saw the email and I bounced up and down in my chair. I told my hubby who was brushing his teeth and tried to congratulate me with a foaming mouth. :)

What genre do you write?
I mostly write paranormal because I love the world building and supernatural abilities I can gift my characters. But, I’ve also written science fiction, futuristic and even some BDSM.

Who inspired you to write?
My husband dared me to write and I hate it when he wins, so I sat down and pounded away at my keyboard. A year and a half later, I can safely say, I won. ;)

Dont you just love a good dare! Who designed your cover? I can’t just choose one so I’ve got to give credit to them all. Anastasia Rabiyah has designed all my covers with Amira Press and I have to say, she does great abs. At Cobblestone Press, I’ve had the talented author and artist Sable Grey along with PJ Friel-Edwards. And finally, with Champagne Books and Liquid Silver Books, my covers were designed by the truly gifted, Amanda Kelsey.

Do you have any tips for new writers? Write, write and write some more. Once you get that first book done, don’t spend ages revising and rewriting it. Send it out and start the next piece.

I have to ask because we all have one, or more. What is your guilty pleasure?
Chips and dip. Just ask my poor hips. 

Where can your readers reach you? The best place to find out more about me and my upcoming stuff is on my website @ http://www.evelanglais.com . Awesome covers, hot excerpts and more await.

What’s next for you? More stories. I just finished a Cleopatra paranormal and am now working on two new pieces until one takes me over completely
